Simon also did Timba's rap in "Skin Divers," but left out the "oh, woh" part. It seems like they are still figuring out how to make SD work live and gave up on the Timba parts being recorded and/or lip-synced. It sounded pretty good, but I'm thinking they might still tweak it, as some layers of sound were lost. what do you know? he did... What do you know? I should have been more specific... At our show, he did the lone "oh, woh" part, but I was referring to the rapped chorus part that used to be Timba's. My fault for not being more specific. He did not in the chorus, becaues he rapped. If the back-up singer sang the "oh, woh" in the chorus while he rapped at our show, I couldn't hear her doing it. It just sounded like he rapped with no back-up, "oh, wohs." That's how it sounded at our show, to me, from my seat.

Well at least everyone can give up the idea that neither of the Timbers will ever join Duran Duran on stage for even 1 second during this tour....I mean did they actually work together on 2-3 songs for RCM???

If the set-list is becoming boring then maybe it's just a sign you've been to too many shows!!
Their shows cannot be designed specifically for the fans (the only exception being the fan only show, which I'd agree could have been very different) - these shows have to reach out to all the people that were once fans and will turn up for old times sakes, and to all the new fans that have never heard them live before.
As such, it would be wrong to change it that much - they play what people will recognise.
Yes, I'd love to hear a more unusual set-list, the same as you all, but I love what they are doing - if I didn't love it anymore I'd stop going!!

The Seattle show was anything but boring. Many songs had a different twist on them played live, and the electroset definitely provided some new arrangements.
I agree ... if you're that dissatisfied with going to see one of your favorite bands, maybe it is time to take a break and save your money. The rest of us are delighted to see them.

Well said, Izzy and BFOH. I thought the Seattle show was fan-freaking-tastic!

Well what's wrong with going to one too many shows? The thing is it's almost always event he same setlist in the same order. **THIS IS MY OPINION** The electro set sucks.. Sorry John, but it's NOT more Duran Duran then an Unplugged. Least in the point of you actually holding a bass and playing it rather then playing a bass keyboard. Sorry, I saw the Phoenix show and after year and years and years of loving every show, nah.. Sorry just a dissapointed Duran fan. I had NO complaints of the reuniuon tour, the pop trash tour, the let it flow tour so I am not one of those (never pleased) fans and I'm NOT attending Vegas for the 1st time on years.. Thanks for letting me vent.

There's nothing wrong with that. But you're reasonable about it. You realize you don't like this set of shows, so you're not going to any more this tour. Makes sense to me. We get a bit jealous, those of us who live in areas where the guys don't come often, and when they do, we get one date. So it kills us when people get to go to tons of shows, and complain. (I, too, though don't blame anyone for complaining about the fan show. I saw the You-Tube videos and read the reviews.) We wish we had the opportunity to see enough shows to get bored. It would be fantastic if the guys could do a tour of non-hits and fan favorites. We can all dream!

One of my favorite albums is Big Thing, and that tour never made it anywhere close to where I could attend. Now they are playing the electro-set, and I'd give my eye teeth to see that, but with the closest date nearly seven hours away, it's a pretty safe bet I won't be seeing this tour either. Gotta love people who complain about the shows being the same at multiple dates...maybe we could trade places.

Just for objective observation purposes...
Someone should put up a setlist from the Astronaut tour to compare it against the RCM tour at the same venue.
Then, take another artist who has released albums throughout his/her/their career and do the same.
Not to make it a U2 vs. Duran or Madonna vs. Duran or Depeche Mode vs. Duran competition, but what about those artists? What did their setlists look like on back-to-back tours (not multiple dates on the same tour...of course, those are supposed to be about the same).
