Pretty damn frightening how far we can strip down the meaning of just the album title....THAT'S what Durantime gets us. LOL

Well it's a much better title than "Pop Trash", "The Wedding Album" or "Red Carpet Massacre".

It was actually just self-titled as 'Duran Duran' again. (TWA just being the nickname due to the cover art.) Speaking of which, anyone know who started the whole TWA nickname?

If I am correct the working title was then Four On The Floor. At least I remember the promo cassette from Japan with this title and the actual album on it.

Another title considered along with Four on the Floor was Here Comes the Band. Man, they really do have some crappy ideas for album titles, don't they!

I like the title "King of Nowhere" better but it's just a album title I actually liked it as well. It's ironic and introspective, and reminds me of the Medazzaland album's skewering of the idea of fame (as crystalized in Undergoing Treatment). King of Nowhere: Edgy, alternative sounding All You Need is Now: Safe, almost cheesy, and a bit cliche, but still decent. It sounds like a cross between a U2 album and an Eckhart Tolle book (neither of which is a bad thing IMO) duran started flirting with the beatles through "is there something i sholud know " Mark Ronson claiming that they´re a classic album, maybe they thought they needed a classic title and homage to beatles again "all you need is love" LOL I thought that as well: All you need is now (whamp-bam-bah-bah-baaah) All you need is now (whamp-bam-bah-bah-baaah) All you need is now, now Now is all you need ps 500 posts woo-hoo!
