I remember this book and had it. I think I gave it away when I went to college or moved in with my exboyfriend. I remember being livid they attacked them when there were other groups to attacks.

I remember developing an intense dislike for Kurt Loder after reading his review of Seven & the Ragged Tiger in Rolling Stone. I carried it with me over the years every time his rat face popped up on MTV, and I finally got my own personal lame "revenge" maybe 10 years ago.
A friend and I were on the first floor of the now shuttered Tower Records at Broadway and 4th when we spotted Loder from across a rack of CD's. Siezing upon the opportunity, my friend mumbled, "Hey, there's that Justin Beiber Fan Kurt Loder" loud enough to be heard clearly by the shitheel.
I followed with, "Yeah, let's get him!" at which point Loder turned and ran out the front door and into the night.
We laughed about it for hours.

Funny... I seem to remember one of the mods at the LK forum saying she met John Lydon at one point and mentioning she liked DD somehow in the conversation. I guess after she said something along the lines of "Oh, you're probably not a fan of them", he actually said some respectful things about them and how they were "good at what they do". Time changes things, I suppose?
Great Loder story, lol.
