The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable.

Tell you what rogerlejohn, if you send me the MP3 of "Matter of Fact" (which I notice you've uploaded to Youtube) I'll happily stick the snippets on Youtube. Deal? :-)

Interesting. There were actually bits and pieces that I hadn't heard (or don't remember hearing). When I listened, I have to admit that I wasn't terribly blown away by any of it yet. I don't know if that would happen from just listening to a small snippet though.

I like the first snippet, because it features one of Nick's old synths (the Jupiter 6 synth, I think) and the guitar sounds a bit like the one used on the chorus of the Rio album version of "My Own Way". The second one sounds okay but not particularly "classic Duran". "Runway" definitely sounds old school Duran, right down to the drum pattern, I really dig that. "Blame The Machine" also sounds like classic Duran but definitely has more of an "Electric Barbarella" vibe (which I'm not suggesting is a bad thing).
The second-to-last song is perhaps my favourite, I really adore that synth lead and John's bass playing sounds great on it too. Reminds me of the energy and vibe found on "Severn & The Ragger Tiger". The last song sounds very work-in-progress so can't really judge that, but it sounds okay.
Do these clips excite me? Absolutely. I've played them to my brother who is also a big fan of the band and he loves Blame The Machines and the track that I've mentioned just above. Really hyped for the new album, which I'm sure I've made no mistake in hiding of late!
