Hi all! I was wondering if anyone could help me find good record stores in London, besides HMV. I´ll be there in a few days and I want to see if I can find something for my DD collection, especially vinyl. Thanks in advance

Yeah Camden Town are the best. Saying that though, there's a good chain of second hand music shops in Notting Hill Gate called Music & Video Exchange. They have a bargain basement and LOADS of 12" vinyls from £1 and 7"'s from 10p! I havent been there for a while, but last time I was there I got Arcadia's Goodbye is Forever US 12" for 50p, promo 12"'s for Girls On Film remixes for £1 each and lots more! Well worth a look! if you need directions to the shops, let me know

Sister Ray used to sell a lot of DD, though I can't find any items on the site now. www.sisterray.co.uk/

Yeah, there are several Music & Video Exchanges in Notting Hill (Notting Hill Gate), Berwick Street (Oxford Circus), Greenwich (Cutty Sark) and Camden. Done them all this week, nothing rare there at DD wise - they also put irremovable stickers on the sleeves, grrrr! Worth a look though, the bargain floors are huge but it takes a long long time to get through!

Berwick Street (Soho) near Oxford Street, London has at least 5 very good ones.
