This was in the UK Daily Mail as well this morning. Said they're suing for £23,500. Wonder how much the lawyers are charging?

That was my thought ... but they may be trying to set a precedence that they will not tolerate that sort of thing. Especially if they are looking to sign on somewhere new.

It may not be a case of individual band members gaining - possibly they are bringing the action in the band company's name rather than as individuals. However, it's the principle of the matter - they are being ripped off. What's the US law in civil actions - does the loser pay the winner's costs?

What I'm curious about is this the "official" company that everyone's been dealing with? Crewe-Issue handles the merchandise but is the actual fan club itself part of this and if so, what happens if we've been dealing with them? I've personally never had an issue. Is this simply that they've (fan club) have been greedy and not paying Duran?
