They still long for a major dont they. Not sure whether that good idea or not!

Simon said it depends on how they want to tour this time as to the "major" or not. Emphasized that getting signed would be no problem...it's just who to go with.

I can't see another world tour on the scale of previous ones. After the health scares in 2011-2, a major company may not want to take the risk.

I don't mind the touring but they over did it last time tour coming back and playing multiple cities...that is not good and they need breaks between tours--no shame in that--older bands do it all the time!!
I do hope that they can make up some of the cities they had to cancel? Touring is their bread and butter not record sales!

Simon seemed to hint that they were leaning towards avoiding the 2000-capacity venues and playing 'larger' ones this time around to avoid doing a large amount of shows. John had also hinted a year or two ago that they might be up for playing more shows in the same cities in order to avoid the weariness of travel, especially after Nick's situation in 2012.

But definitely festivals! They like festivals! Yeah, Simon said that he'd prefer bigger arenas and less shows for the most part...and I'm sure the others are in agreement. I don't like that-multiple-shows-in-one-city idea. As a person that is more than happy to go to one show a tour, that city would have to be pretty darn close to me. I always get a VIP seat (that's my splurge for the tour) but am on a limited budget...as well as going to school FT and working 2-3 PT jobs.
