Lots of memories there. That jacket of Simon's ... *shakes head. Glad he's not singing on this version alongside One Direction!

Was the rumor that they just came back from Germany for a tour and they were high and drunk?
Andy looked high--lol

Some of those blurbs about the participants are a bit misleading.
Makes it sound like he quit the band shortly after Band Aid.
Makes it sound like he's not in Duran Duran anymore.

Big spread in yesterday's Daily Mail (UK) on "where Are They Now" estimated Simon's wealth at £38 million and Nick's at £44 million. I find that hard to believe! I don't think Simon will be asked to sing again. Things I've read suggested that S&Y encouraged Paula and Michael to get together.

It's not that they will have this ammount in their bank account, but have you seen their houses? They are all partners in a company called Duran Duran. Nick, in addition, owns the Duran Duran brand name. And they continue to annually receive royalties from their big hits from the 80s, that amount alone will be much more than most of us will earn in a year's hard work. And for sure they will have invested a lot of their millions back in the day well.

So they sell millions of albums over 30 years and people think they've got like a couple of thousand if they're lucky in the bank??? Of course they're loaded and good on them!!!

Feed the World Bono!! lol DD and U2 are not in the same league in terms of money making. U2 has continuously sold out stadiums all over the world since 1985 or so, DD certainly has not. Plus U2's albums in the 1990s sold better than DD '80s albums, no doubt about that. But then again, DD makes the best music
