Duran Duran have always been pioneers in having great videos made for their singles and one of the first bands to release a internet download single, for many years we've had vinyl, cassette, compact discs and now buy their tracks on iTunes.....Wouldn't it be great if the band could add all their back catalogue on their website, and include more rare tracks, for us fans to buy, and instead of compressed format, release it in wav or flac for better quality.....and maybe release their next album in 5.1 and re-release the old albums in 5.1 too , like they did with the Dual Disc version of Astronaut.

Very good idea. But a lot of barriers in the way. 1) The band would have to be willing to do this. 2) The record company would have to agree 3) They would need to hire someone for those 5.1 mixes
All this could be done but I wonder if point 1 is ever going to be a reality. The band could do it with Medazzaland and All You Need Is Now because those records belong to themselves.
