Thinkin' that they hadn't even begun recording AYNIN at that point, and just over two years later the album were released.
Wondering what is wrong right now, and why they spoil every little bit of momentum left from the success of that album.
I really start feeling that this next compilation of songs will be the final album we get from these guys. After that, it will all be greatest hits tours, I'm afraid. Hope my Instincts are wrong.

I really start feeling that this next compilation of songs will be the final album we get from these guys. After that, it will all be greatest hits tours, I'm afraid. Hope my Instincts are wrong. They'll never stop writing and recording. They'll be another 'Stones.. Duran are too artistic, inspiring, experimental and creative to give up on new material. They love the studio camaraderie! SLB told me in an interview that they get excited in the studio and he loves the buzz! Faith Stan, have faith But, it looks like the Stones have stopped recording. Their last album was released 10 years ago. They are much older than Duran but they are also much more successful. Bands make all their money touring nowadays anyway. I really hope we get another 3 or 4 albums before Duran becomes just a touring jukebox. And Tin, I once asked Nick if they ever thought about releasing the Smirnoff gig they did with Mark Ronson on DVD? He told me they would like to because it was such a unique show a live DJ mix full of covers and he said they were lucky it went so well. I am guessing we will never see an official release because they covered "Sign O' The Times" by Prince mixed with "I Don't Want Your Love." Prince is dead against bands covering him, so no chance. It's too bad, that worked really well sure they could cut that song out but it was the best part Notorious into SOTT/IDWYL into Save A Prayer! It's so intense on the live recordings I have heard
