But I think we [...] shouldn't endanger possible future releases by going in to deeply in who they are and where they come from as this forum had been threatened by the band before that discussions like these are not allowed...which let to closing doen the Collector's Corner... So I wouldn't disclose too much info on this topic and remove personal info....but that's just me Exactly.

Yes sorry its been discussed at length. This thread asked whats the DD Fan Club is up to? Then someone asked who is the DD Fan Club? Then I took it some where else! Lets get back to the original question, but I would like to finish this section by saying DD Fan Club hasn't claimed anything on the Remix. Can you answer a simple yes or no? The photo you posted of the 12" remix recording, does this contain the same recording the DD Fan Club released? Simple yes or no? i'm really not sure that anything i could tell you would trump Steve Thompson putting the same mix on his own website & saying that it's his from '85; but let's go for it...
Yes, i can confirm that the digital copy i was sent some years back = the reel to reel tape in the box that i put an image up of going back = the one on the Unleashed CD = the one Steve Thompson's said is real...
...& it's the reason why the preceding track on the bootleg is a short clip of John saying that he refused to allow one to be made - so the clear intent was to state that this was the missing 12" mix; which, again, Steve Thompson has categorically stated it is.
Otherwise, as mentioned, it's only this bootleg that i have any knowledge about for stuff as i'm not involved with the FanClub in any way - i just happened to be told some odd bits by a very trustworthy source long before the bootleg came out, whilst separately having images of some of the original media for things on it in my archives from the being included when i was sent digital copies of the tracks at different times over the previous years.
But I think we should cherish the releases of DD Fan Club and shouldn't endanger possible future releases by going in to deeply in who they are and where they come from as this forum had been threatened by the band before that discussions like these are not allowed...which let to closing doen the Collector's Corner... So I wouldn't disclose too much info on this topic and remove personal info....but that's just me i thought that was primarily about having links to downloading bootlegs on there, rather than simply discussing things?
But you're correct... &, imho, going overboard with personal info about someone else isn't exactly a respectful thing to do... ...well, i'm sure none of us would relish a public investigation into who we are & what we do.

Thank you eeyore for editing out the personal info by replacing it with xxxxxx.
I also hope that you are convinced now by PD's explanation! Or still not convinced?
Wasn't it also DDHQ referring to the link with the extended version a few months ago?

Thank you very much Peter for your nice comment and pocketdemon - WOW! 30 years later and a lost 12" remix confirmed. many thanks. No probs... Yeah, there were just major discussions when it first came out where, simply as i had a few pics & bits of info in my archives from years before, i'd spent a while demonstrating that things on it were real... ...so feared the whole thing starting up again as it could easily have spiralled if other people had joined in in questioning authenticity. Anyway, whilst that (along with other stresses happening in life atm) is the reason, my apologies for being a little on the frustrated side in replying. We can't all know everything of course.
