How I long for old-fashioned vinyl and cd singles... Ditto. So far the only two means of buying the single is through xbox and juno, right?

Juno does not seem to work in UK, even though prices are in £'s and I don't have an X-box account!
How I long for the old fashioned way of going to the shops, picking up the vinyl / cd and playing it at home!!
Oh happy days!!!!!

Synths are over produced, only the chorus is balanced. The rest the synths are too loud and simons voice too soft. Definitely not a hit. Sorry. Too long, too complex. People are NOT going to dig it I'm afraid.
It's like Nick suddenly is diagnosed with ADHD.
Very disappointed here, except for that killer chorus.

I have only listened to a snippet of the first verse and chorus and I must agree with you. The song appears to have been ruined in the mix. The leaked vineyard clip, the verse sounded good and the chorus poor...now it's the other way around. Verses too slow and sluggish, chrous is great, catchy and sticks in your head. Also, why the have buried the guitar in the mix is beyond me.

Just listened to multiple snippets and will download when Juno allow this in the UK. WAV format too! I like it...

just listened via rdio/fb option... okay, I get their unabashed endorsement of "Get Lucky" - that comes through. Nice to hear all 8 lines of Janelle Monae in there... probably less than thirty words? Ana Matronic's part on the last album for instance was more substantial...
nice to have that *featuring Janelle Monae* tag though, I guess... to draw interest...
there's some distortion/fuzz effects in there - trying to grit it up. "get lucky" was smoother, more velvety... yeah, that's Nile's signature funk rhythm there - but it's been played with, I guess it can't be as clean as in Get Lucky... it's a bit more lost in the track...
JT's bass is totally channeling Bernard Edwards' mode - those intro parts and mid-8 parts are nice touches...
the off-off-off-off-off-off-off vocal resampling refrain is a holdover of the oh-whoa-oh!'s on Blame the Machines...
Nick's synth lines kinda is like a carry over from AYNIN.
kinda wish he'd dig out the WASP, the Crumar more...
musically, it's so simple - just a verse/chorus... there's not even a proper pre-chorus chord change... it just jumps from verse and slams into the chorus like hitting a wall... with the enhanced production (shakers, etc) on the chorus designed to make it sound so much bigger, stand out, etc... a common ploy, but it works...
same with the crowd noise FX at the end, which to me sounds exactly the crowd noise from KLF's 3am eternal... "KLF has now left the building..."
oh well. It's more encouraging to me as a "start" than AYNIN was as a single. That's progress, I suppose...
Roger's crashes on the chorus - almost wish they came out a bit more. I think from this track already, the percussion is a bit better mixed/produced than it was on AYNIN.
Verse chorus bits almost sound like glued together from 2 different versions... but I guess that's the extras on the choruses having so much more than the verse...
verses totally remind me of "Say the Word" style -- the pauses...
Definitely the best single in a long time - better even than Sunrise, definitely piques interest, says they're back... makes you want to hold out for more.
