I hear you. But what if you were sent a promo copy? That is a very clever question. I've got September in my mind which equals Christmas in my previous comment. I really do want to sit down and listen to this masterpiece and look at all the artwork + credits as if I was enjoying a fine wine. BUT an official promo with some sort of inlay, yes I would listen to it, BUT I would certainly NOT spoil the enjoyment for others by leaking its contents. So what would you do, if you fortunate enough to be sent an official promo tomorrow?? Hmmm i see your point! But what i have seen until now is that promos are sent digitally, so no art or inlay, just your screen listing 12 tracks. Fair question if i was fortunate enough what i would do. Well, i'd listen instantly. I can say i want to wait for whatever reason, but i just know i cannot withold myself.

Anyone downloading this for free now is just SCUM in my book. It doesn't help anyone, other than you, freeloader! Oh please - exaggeration much? You're on the wrong board mate. Every regular on this forum is probably going to be buying a number of versions of Paper Gods, as happens every Duran album. I know regulars here who bought up to 20 copies of AYNIN in an effort to promote the band, giving them away to friends and relatives. They did the same for RCM, and Astronaut, and all of Duran's records. I support a wife and two kids on an average wage, and I'll happily spend what little spare cash we have on the latest Duran Duran album and concert ticket when available. It's your average drive-by downloader who has no intention of supporting the artists whose copyrights they infringe that is worthy of your scorn, and there are none around here at the moment. And never will be either, so you might as well save your soapbox next Duran Duran album as well. And the one after that. Just wondering - have you ever listened to Beautiful Colours? TV Vs Radio? Matter Of Fact? Any other unreleased/leaked song by Duran Duran or ANY band for that matter? I mean I know there would be NOTHING like that on your hard drive as you are so pure and virtuous, but maybe you unintentionally clicked on a Youtube link and it accidentally started playing? In that situation did you shut it down in horror straight away considering the band never officially released that song? I also assume then you have full rights to view every single movie and TV show that you watch? I mean you wouldn't be hypocritical calling other people scum who download copyrighted material, and then do the same thing yourself right? You have no movies currently on your hard drive or external hard drive lying around the place? Not even one? Never had one? Never received a song, album, or movie off a friend? Even back in the day of cassette tapes and cassette recorders? If you honestly have NEVER downloaded copyrighted material, never copied a DVD, and always had the appropriate permissions in your country to record any TV show onto VCR, DVD, or PVR, and have paid for every single piece of artistic content in the history of your life, then congratulations - you are in the 0.001 percent of people who have access to television, cable, and internet. People must love it when you come to visit. If you're at a friend's place who DOES have some copyrighted material at their place, do you get all angry and call them scum as well? Or only unknown fellow Duran Duran fans? And if they are scum, just wondering what the hell you call pedophiles and drug dealers? You're going to be very busy berating people who don't reach your incredibly high standards. Good luck.

"People must love it when you come to visit" that killed me!
Reminded me of Scott from Canada on South Park. He is a "Richard" whenever he shows up all the other Canadians run in terror and hide from Scott because "he's a Richard!"

Interesting resource, didn't know about that one . Most board members - I imagaine - are savvy when It comes to navigating the "interweb" , but just wanted to say in our haste and passion we may decide to go to the darker corners of the net; I'm sure there are unscrupulous individuals who will put up links to Paper Gods only for this to result in a computer virus. IMO, desparate fans and more likley to take a chance and see what happens...just a thought guys . You all can book me if you have some computer problems... Maybe I can make enough money to actually book Duran Duran for a private concert and sell some tickets here for a dream setlist

Dutch, your avatar doesn't really advertise you as a PC technician..more like a fitness trainer!! Haha yea... I got most of my customers confused LOL... Some of them actually want to have me as a bailiff or a bouncer at a party Some of the consumer customers are even afraid to open the door because they think I'm some criminal or something haha

If I could get a hold of the songs now to listen to, I would in a heartbeat! And I will still buy multiple copies in multiple formats from various countries later. I am dying to hear the songs and I know some people have heard them. If they can, why not me?
