I only know "True" and "Gold" Those are literally the only songs by them anybody hears in the US. I remember a couple of years ago John Taylor had a streaming music playlist that included "To Cut A Long Story Short" I tought it was a cool song, then I discovered there was a rivalry between Duran and Spandau in the UK. I saw clips of them competing on a music trivia show! It looked like a fun kind of rivalry, nowhere near as nasty as Oasis Vrs. Blur. After all these years is there still, or was there ever a real hatred between the two bands? Didn't Simon sing on Tony Hadley's (spelling?) cover of Save A Prayer? I wonder why Spandau, or Sterling left Duran off his resume on Spandau's website? I wonder if it is a little joke for Duranie's or if Sterling just doesn't want the attention.

The Spands and Duran have always been friends. I believe that John even wrote a dedication to them on their tour programmes. Tony Hadley always wished that he were the singer of Duran Duran. I will say that Sterling on the other hand had an apparently acrimonious split with Duran Duran. He was initiated as a full time member and that meant a pay increase that the other guys didn't like...
