Sorry to say, but this is not genuine! It is simply a fan extended version of the original short demo. It is repeating the first verse and choruses to make it longer...

Someone mentioned this to me the other day but I think whoever did this, didn't do a bad job & it's a bit better than the 2 1/2 min version. Just a shame the quality was shit to start off with. Thanks for the message though

So I can't remember who's requested this to be done up but here it is & it's the best I could do. Please leave feedback Thanks. It's not bad. It's better than the version I had ten years ago, but it is the same recording. It cannot touch the pure expansiveness of the vocals, the addictiveness, and production of Pressure Off, and that is a shame, because I think if they worked on it more it could have done. I can, however, see why Duran Duran didn't release this song: as a song it just isn't good enough. Beautiful Colours is the same: it may have great production (although the leaked versions don't reveal the true extent of the production as the recording is compressed and only "good demo" quality), but it is simply not a great lyric, and hence not a great song. When Duran Duran *don't* release something, they are right not to. And as for the album that Sony rejected, I suspect that that is not up to much either. ShutterHaze www.durandurantribute.com

ShutterHaze www.durandurantribute.comWhen Duran Duran don't release something, they're right not too? I'm not even sure how to respond to that but quite a statement! Pure bollocks mind you. And no Sony was wrong for packing them off to some hip hop turd producer that was never going to work from the start and it didn't. So hopefully it contains a few classic Duran masterpieces.

I respect an each to their own opinion but have to say,I think there's a good number of tracks that I really like never had the proper work up to end up on an album or at least a b-side.

When Duran Duran don't release something, they're right not too? I'm not even sure how to respond to that but quite a statement! Pure bollocks mind you. Well 1) all of those "we wrote enough for three albums" rejects from Liberty that have turned up on the internet are dull as ditchwater, and 2) it was a wise choice not to release Beautiful Colours because, great as the groove may be, the lyrics are weak. Simon said so and he is right. I credit Sony with some ability to judge wheat from chaff and I daresay that they called the decision on the unreleased Reportage correctly ....
