I was listening on Sirius XM today...they 80's,channel.. and they did a top 40 countdown from 1986..JT's I do what I do was number 24...and it got me thinking..After Simon who has the next best voice..not counting Nick as he spoke the words to Medazzaland..but I rank Simon first of course then Andy then JT..I give John an A for effort but he just can't sing..Andy has a good voice...yes Andy has the rocker voice but he can sing ballads and he did have a,small part in Sunrise...I think vocally he was underated...

1. Simon 2. Andy 3. John 4. Warren 5. Nick 6. Roger ? ? ?
Has anyone heard Roger sing? He doesn't have a microphone behind that drum kit. I am willing to put him as high as 4, but I cannot think of an instance where I heard him even do background vocals! If you include Dom he goes straight in at #3.

What do you mean "not counting Nick" He has been singing more on this tour then I think he's ever done before. I think he should count! I love Medazzaland. Besides... That man could read the phone book and I'd love it! lol

Are we counting Dom? I like his solo work. His voice has a cool quality to it. Andy was always a decent singer. I would have to say he would be in there.

definitely Nick. I would give that man more 'speaking features' (lol) à la BTM / TMWSAL on future records. I'm serious, could be totally interesting.
after him in the speaking voice dpt, it's Roger, who totally soothes me whenever I hear him speak in interviews.
I miss Andy's bvox. John's voice is too nasal/undeveloped for my ear.. I think he could use some voice lessons which would improve that by leaps and bounds, if he'd be interested. I think I can detect Warren in some bvox, but I can't honestly say I'm aware of how his singing voice actually sounds. good speaking voice, though.

Find on YouTube the acoustic version of SAP with just Simon and Andy. Andy harmonises with Simon very well.

I disagree, I think John can actually sing. Is he the best singer? nope but neither is Simon. In fact very few pop/rock lead singers really can truly sing. Some I give credit to who at least try and are passable like Simon and Bono. Others can't sing but due to autotune and all the other technology you can't really see this (this list includes people like Britney, Jessica Simpson, Keisha and way more to count). Very few are trained singers and to compare them to trained singers is something else.
