I heard this and sparks flew out of my light brown balls, and I had to get that Unleashed cd.... Haha. Sparks flying out of your light brown balls... Thanks for the laugh, I needed that. I do like that remix. I didn't wish there was a remix of it which wasn't based on the radio edit. I think it sucks they cut most of the lyrics out. There are a few remixes and Night Version that I consider definitive versions. I grew to love this remix of Falling Down. It took a while to get used to the sped up vocals. I love that this mix has a real bass guitar. It's a great mix. I have a hard time deciding if I should dance to it, ir cry to it..

Someone Else Not Me is a song I really like as is; the remix is good but it loses the painful melancholy, and sense of loss that the original conveys.

7" remixes I prefer over the album versions: - The reflex (Nile's 7" remix) - Meet El Presidente (7" remix) - Nice (Prydz radio edit) - Serious (7" remix from Unleashed)

Have to add "I don't want your love (single mix)"; the middle 8 section that Shep Pettibone put in adds just that little something extra to an already amazing song.

Does anyone actually prefer the album version? That single mix makes the album version sound like a demo. Listening to The "Big Mix" and "Dub Mix" gets old pretty quickly though. They can be fun, but sound sooo dated.

I'm not sure i prefer it over the original or not but the night version of Hungry Like the Wolf was actually the first version of the song I ever heard back in 82 so I was kinda used to that version (and loved it) so when i heard the single version it never quite sounded right. The night version basically just had an instrumental and chorus tacked on to the front of the song and I loved how that let me really hear everything so clearly (especially JTs bass). Also the mix was slightly different... the jungle woman moans were much more prominent as well as some other effects in middle 8. m.soundcloud.com/bittersweetmachines/fire-in-the-city

Sunrise's remix by Jason Nevins. My Own Way single version I don't Want Your Love. The single remix is much better. Girls On Film. The Night Version is better. Electric Barbarella. Single edit works better for me. Rio's David Kershenbaum Remix was the first I heard, so I'm quite used to it.

I prefer the album version of IDWYL. I don't know why. It just sounds better to me. The only remix I really find superior is the 12" of UOTS.
