Hats off for crating a Tribute Band! There are few of these, and I havent heard of any recently. I think there is a market out there for venues which would love to play the stuff you guys could produce, i.e Careless Memories and more of the early stuff. The music is top notch, and I especially love the bass guitar player seems to really get the whole sliding string effect. In general the music and instrumentation you guys have put together is astonishing, and to say it sounds way better than any Karaoke rendition is more than a gross understatement. You guys have made a balance between playing tight, and playing loose, and for me it feels warm and totally classic Duran. But I must say I dont like the lead singer, and he sounds more like the Andy Wickett days than SLB. Really sorry if this is you Simon Baker, but I had to stop the music for this reason only. I cant imagine its easy to find a good front man, and I cant imagine anyone would be anywhere near Simon Lebon in terms of vocal range, depth and complexity. He reminds me of New Order in look, perhaps his vocal range is a little too high. Hope you like constructive feedback, we dont pull any punches here on this forum.

More Play Time, I had to laugh at your review, especially your comments about their singer, although I will say I'm now slightly recultanct of posting my own tribute bands efforts on here now for fear of being ridiculed like the last fella! Mind you it hasn't stopped him! What do you reckon, should I post some of our live recordings?
