What happened to that site? I have a friend who ordered something and has not gotten it or heard anything and the site appears to be non-existent right now. What can anyone tell me?

After all the stuff with him being unwell, things did kind of sort out last year... ...as i picked up some bits in (i think) June/July from Alan - albeit that it took him a couple of weeks to post them. it is a bit strange that his FB page has also suddenly vanished as well though... i wonder if he had legal threats, as naturally not everything was kosher(?). The only thing i can suggest though is to try emailing him - either directly or, if applicable, via PayPal.

Well Alan is alive. Heās on my FB friends and heās active. I donāt like to discuss his personal stuff as thatās separate from his business. I do know Alan hasnāt been well. Thereās been a lot of talk about non receipt of orders in the last 2 years so it has been common knowledge. I personally wouldnāt buy anything from the collectors store as things currently stand. Iām not defending Alan but heās had a rough time. Perhaps somebody should offer to take the business on and make it a reputable one. Having said that, his reputation has sunk so probably not a good idea! Good to hear that nothing terrible seems to have happened to him - though it doesn't explain why the shop & its FB page have suddenly vanished of course. Otherwise, his previous ill health was mentioned on the shop's FB page going back in time - so i wasn't saying anything that wasn't already deliberately in the public domain... Well, if it wasn't then i wouldn't have known about it.

I see activiy on ebay... under the name ātrainbricksā. Listed are the US promo 2010 fatboxes, advertised as ORIGINAL promo sets. I very much doubt that these are original. They are easy to duplicate amd i think that has been done. He sold many copies of these boxes and it is highly doubtful so many copies ended up in the same hands/shop.
Knowing that makes it an overpriced item in my eyes.
Btw. Not sure who this Steven Lange but i think it is all the same is as it is also doubtful two DD stores exist in Rotherham.

They are not originals. I ordered 7 and DD before I realized who I ordered from. Several months later I got an original 7, and it confirmed my suspicion.
