Whilst i bought a lot to get 2 Capitol promo photos, they came with a copy of the US LP.
Now, having arrived with some other stuff earlier today, unpacking & the LP itself looks to be a standard release - with matrix numbers -
PJ-2-12540-Z-1 MASTERDISK-DMM SP 2-1 PJ-2-12540-Z-2 MASTERDISK-DMM SP 2-1
- however it's come in one of the slightly loose top opening plastic sleeves with the clear hype sticker on; something akin to -
INCLUDES NOTORIOUS AMERICAN SCIENCE SKIN TRADE A MATTER OF FEELING VERTIGO (DO THE DEMOLITION) PJ-12540 - PRINTED IN U.S.A.

Anyway, simply for cataloguing/storing, what i'm wondering is whether anyone knows if the photos are likely to be original to this (ie it was sent out as a promo) or if it's more likely that they've just been put in at a later date?
Yeah, my assumption is that it's more likely to be the latter, but it's simply that, whilst i normally put promo photos (& press releases) in folder, it'd be pointless to break a release into parts simply for the sake of my cataloguing system.
(hence, for example, that uber common PS promo with the custom outer sleeve & 12" cards & photo is kept intact)

Hi,
I checked my copy which includes the hype sticker attached to the back sleeve (maybe subsequently moved there from the plastic sleeve) but has no promo pictures inserted.
Front and back sleeve has the silver embossed "DURAN" letters, not the printed version. It's a Specialty Records pressing with slightly different matrix numbers (SP 3-2 on Side B).

Thanks for checking. Yeah, it was really just about seeing if anyone had come across the thing before with photos as a promo version - but clearly not... ...so i guess they can go & live with the other photos/press releases/etc.
