I think this is just a clear sign that they have all moved on from each other.

I think this is just a clear sign that they have all moved on from each other. Sad but true... I was still hoping, but now it’s clear. Very sad

And yet people will still go on & on about how they should get him back. I think that statement should pretty much clear up ANY doubts!

Are we sure this is a dig at DD? Or just sly commentary on the dearth of real musicians/real rock n roll in the current popular landscape?
Either way, they have all clearly moved on and it's for the best. The ability to have Frusciante, Nile, Steve Jones, Grhama Coxon all playing with the band is too good to pass up. Would I love for Andy to contribute a guitar lick or two to the new album, especially in light of the 40th? Of course!
I am very curious for Andy's solo material as I always thought he was underrated apart from DD. Great songwriting and production work with Rod, the Ting Tings, etc. And "When The Rain Comes Down" owns!!!

And Nick Rhodes who just presses the play button (or not even that) commenting that Andy would not listen to Warren's advice on how to play Ordinary World 'right' as he just didn't feel it.... So who's digging who? Andy is a multimillionaire too btw, people may think he is 'poor' because of his records that bombed, but the truth is he did not have to work after 1987 and still earn a big income I think that many here underestimate Andy's songwriting contribution to early Duran. And it's true, he never had to rely on prerecorded backing tracks... unlike Roger, Nick and Simon,

Agree with americanscientist, i didnt read it at all as a dig against duran, more against modern ways of making music.
