Oh please no!!! I do remember those reports and there are a few bands who tour out there with one or even no original members, but who would pay $100 to see this lot bang out Some Like It Hot at your local pub?

This lot ? Pino Palladino is a well respected bass player. I think, in general, he's more respected than JT because he isn't that underrated Steve Ferrone we all now. Also very well respected.

I know they’re respected players and Tony Banks was in Genesis etc so hey, maybe i’m wrong and they’ll be coming to a stadium near you soon, but as The Power Station? Really??? How many people are crying out for a new Power Station record anyway in 2019?? And even more so with this line up?? It’ll be like DD touring a new album with Joe Travers on drums, Tokimonsta on keys, Andy on guitar, Tintin Duffy on vocals and Guy Pratt on bass.

I asked Michael about it, and his reply was "Never happen!"

I remember a certain band that did the same between 1996 and 2001 .... But I get your point of course. It depends on the band, some do get away with it (eg The Cure, Fleetwood Mac, Genesis mark II), others don't (FGTH, Queen+, Genesis mark III). Personally I find DesBarres a terrible singer, such a weird choice for the 85 tour (I know Palmer decided to leave at the last minute) compared to the soulful voice of Palmer at the time.

So what's the consensus?
Is the Wikipedia entry fake? Other than Tony Banks of Genesis, the lineup kind of makes sense. Why would someone go to this effort unless there was a grain of truth?
At the same time, this alleged line Up was added more than two months ago, and there's not a single other reference anywhere on the Internet to this.
