Just getting round to watching it again (I'd originally watched it in June'18 when BBC4 had a Duran Duran night. It's very intermittent, lots of gaps. Nothing about the Arcadia/PS era, nothing about the Liberty & Big Thing era, nothing about the 90s, bar The wedding album, and nothing at all about RCM & AYNIN eras. Wouldn't it be wonderful to get the full story? 2 things stuck in my mind near the end of the programme though. 1. Andy will never be back, bar the odd guest appearance. Touring takes too much out of him. I'd assume writing might do similarly. 2. I'd forgotten about Duran time, yet again, with the Pressure off single. This was released in June'15, and was quite well received by radio, but.....there was no video!!!! This wasn't released until October'15, when the single had long passed! Why, why, why do they continue to make these mistakes? As I mentioned, the song was well received by radio, but this momentum couldn't be backed up with TV/ music channel play because they hadn't a video to accompany it!

Don’t think TV or Music channels were less irrelevant in 2015 than they are now, but there is YouTube that is nowadays essential. But agree they have had momentum issues since 1988. Re Andy: he will not be back for the upcoming album, but with the next album and tour (not before 2025-2026) DD’s members are approaching the big 7-O so let’s first see whether they make it all 5 to that age.

No, Andy will never tour again. But I’m sure that there will be a reunion (just 1 event) with all the fab5 (Wembley Arena?). For a HUGE amount of money, of course...💰💰💰 Mark my words.
