Billie Eilish will sing the title song for NO TIME TO DIE. The 18-year-old has written the song with her brother FINNEAS. Billie is the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song.
Thoughts??

Love her album very much, great pick! Very talented, she does not have to rely on a bunch of songwriters and producers, it’s just her and her brother. And pop.

The title song goes to the highest bidder nowadays.

They do seem to go for a current ‘hot’ artist, she is good and massive at the moment. I thought they might have gone for Harry Styles or Ed, maybe next time??? Although they might be old hat by then. And let’s face it, they were hardly going to go with DD, it would have been like going with Beethoven in 1985

She is the girl of the moment so great choice I guess! I really like that she is very experimental and writes everything herself (with her brother). So my opinion.... great choice.

how could anyone say she is terrible? I wish Paper Gods was half as good as her album.

It's unrealistic to expect DD to write the next Bond theme 35 years after they did the last one. If all the old artists were clogging up the system, you'd never get any new artists breaking through.
60s star Gladys Knight popped up unexpectedly in '89 - that's only precedent I can think of for a vintage artist getting a bond theme after their time. Oh, and maybe you could could Burley Chassey's 'Moonraker' in '79.
