This is now sold out. I guess, perhaps, that since it was given "official" validation in that one Duran Duran D-Blast email that was sent out that people decided to get it.

One thing that I've noticed about these Assai editions being auctioned off on Ebay is that the seller is deliberately covering up or marking out what number the edition is out of 500 in the photo. I could make out that one of them is #302 out of 500, but it makes me think that the other copies are in the 300-499 range.

More likely that they are trying to hide the numbers of their purchase from Assai as the Assai website said one per customer and not for sale to resellers . If they’ve bought more than one copy to sell on they’re probably trying to protect themselves

I guess they figure people won't want a high number, so they'll cover up what number they're selling.

If they’ve bought more than one copy to sell on they’re probably trying to protect themselves I noticed this, too and was annoyed they seemed to have so many copies. I did take a look on Ebay and did see that there were some sellers that had two copies for sale. Who knows how they got around the "limit 1 per customer" rule, but I have my own theory as to how. At any rate, once said item becomes theirs, Assai can't do anything about it. So, again, why hide the number? My thoughts are that people won't want what the person is selling if it's a high number.
