Can't stop playing this song! Loving it!
At about 3.12 in.. isn't that Nick saying Oh no? I'm pretty sure it's Nick. Never noticed it until now..
I think it's Simon saying ..Everybody sing near the end?
I know many hate this song live, but I thought in concert this song rocks! Everyone is really having fun playing this song!

The credits say the original song was sampled. I'm still trying to find exactly where that sample is.

Are you sure? Cause it sounds like Nick when he did Medazzaland..they don't say anything live only in the recorded version?

I haven't done an isolated vocals of this song but I suppose I could run it through my software and have a listen.

It's great. I've been playing it more than the original LIYN, controversial I know!
The whole album is a real joy, only a couple that I tend to skip now.

The biggest insult I recently read in a review was “DD cover MC Hammer’s, you can’t touch this on their new LP”
Could they be more umm…………uneducated.
Seriously 😳 ya’d think if you’re a journalist reviewing music ya may wanna research the original song writer, why these days it’s easy enough to do with the internet at ya fingertips
If ya gonna review modern music it’s easy to do a little research FFS
Embarrassed for that reviewer whoever they were
Don’t think it was an AI review coz even then, such details ought to be programmed in

meh. it’s fine but not my cup of tea.
i don’t really need to hear it again live—once or twice was fine—they have too many great songs that need to be in the sets, given that they don’t play three hour shows like the cure.
and i don’t care for the two songs together, there’s no thread that ties them together at all. “lonely in your nightmare” has thoughtful, more introspective lyrics and almost feels like a ballad, despite its relatively upbeat tempo. “superfreak” is just an upbeat funk/jam about “a very kinky girl” that doesn’t go anywhere lyrically. they are both great songs, but for completely different reasons.
that said, hope everyone enjoys it!

I'll make a bet that this song and BM and maybe DM still on the setlist for their few upcoming American shows as they are still promoting Danse Macabre...I can't see them rehearse or pull a song from the past as this has never been their MO unfortunately...would be great but nope because if they did they would rotate a few new songs and they NEVER do it on tour.
