with all this uphill battling. This is the first time he is involved with the band as a member in a period were things are not quite going their way. I stayed on up untill a view to a kill and then back again with the massive boost of the reunionthingy. Now he is facing a new day as a member of Duran Duran.
Just wondering...

I think they were asking how Roger was managing through a "struggling" phase for the band. ie. His involvement has been through most of the "successful" period of DD.
IMO, they didn't take into account the years they worked to GET successful.
Roger has been with DD through good AND bad times. I'm sure he's doing just fine.

I'm willing to bet he understands the ups and downs of the music biz by now.

Yeah, Roger seemed very enthusiastic about the reunion and RCM, as long as he's enjoying himself - and he sure seems to be - he'll be fine. He loves being in DD again, ups and downs.

Not that I have any answers, obviously, but that is an interesting question. Hadn't thought of that at all.
