I can put on a show at DuranCon07... I'll have to go troll huntin' just before - cause they gotta be fresh (you know, like the new DD album).

hey OZ peeps i need your help please!!!!!!!! My hubby is in Melbourne at the moment (lucky bastid)!I have asked him to get me some UGG boots(as they are much cheaper over there) but he said that he can't find the original ones anywhere because it's mid summer and those are items sold in the winter. I think he hasn't looked hard enough(well he's meant to be working not doing my shopping really...)so i was wondering if anyone from melbourne could give me an address or the name of a shop that he could go to?Thanks in advance and sorry to intrude your thread!

Your hubby would be correct they would be hard to find here at the moment but I know up here in Brisbane there are still a few upmarket duty free/souvenir places that do stock them for international visitors.
There is a shop in Melbourne Central (Lonsdale St) called Peter Alexander he does groovy pyjamas and has uggs called Home Boots. Get him to try there... they had some when I visited their store in Bris last week. Good luck!

Yep Peter Alexander is the best bet. Or if he is in town for another week, the Victoria Markets on sundays have them too. (Elizabeth st near victoria parade, in the city)

(Elizabeth st near victoria parade, in the city) apparently he went to Peter Alexander a coupole of day s ago but they didn't have them. Hopefully he'll find them @ the markets otherwise i'll have to do without.I am just refusing to pay the price they charge for them in the UK.Thanks a lot for your help!Bx
