A movie screening would be fun but for me no absolute necessity and it wouldn't necessarily have to be Sing Blue Silver for me. Three to get ready, As The Lights Go Down or even Arena would be good for me.

Watching SBS with a gang of duranies is a blast. I'm in for that--even if it means I have to pay extra. I'm all about dancing and drinking and catching up with my buddies, though, so whatever you lot work out is cool with me. I'm there no matter what form the debauchery takes!

I think we should keep it at the Pioneer, maybe show something other than SBS. I'd forego the movie if the crowd was too large, let someone who missed it before see it in 2008, but I do NOT want to miss the party this year.

I'd like to see the movie in a room of half-crazed duranies..........but I'd be watching the half-crazed duranies not the movie

What about having two screenings of the film at the Pioneer? I know that might be a bit difficult to co-ordinate, but maybe it would be less expensive to book that theater for three hours or whatever than to book another one for two. And if you're still going to do raffles and the like, you can do that at Mo Pitkin's.
The Pioneer was so much fun - It was nice and intimate and cozy.

Ohhhh-ho-ho-ho-ho-hoooooo!!!!!
Wait until you kiddies get a load of what we're up to.
We're negotiating stuff right now, but wethinks we have a ROCKIN' change of plans (same date, same city -- no worries). No goin' outside. All one space. Plenty of room. This is going to rock.
We'll have space for 250. Everyone will be able to see the movie. Everyone will be able to see Chekhov's Wig. Everyone will be able to enjoy drink specials. Everyone will be able to nosh on some yummy viddles. And no one will have to go outside once they've arrived. Red carpet and paparazzi is INCLUDED!
:-)
