Uh that sucketh! What channel? WGN? It was on CSN (Comcast Sports Network) which is Chicago's cable company (Comcast that is.) The game was on...just didn't show Si or JT throw out the pitch and I had it on before any coverage of the game. They just went right from the sports guys talking to the first pitch of the game! The network did play HLTW as they were introducing the game. But no mention that they were there or any pics of them there when I was watching! That's ok I will get my fill of them tomorrow night at the show! Can't wait! Counting down the hours!

Thanks for the info jduranie. Bummer I'll be waiting for any update! [oh, maybe the big screen that shows close ups of fans, etc.-could John/Simon get on that?] One more *Q*-JoSi were supposed to sit on the *North* side. Where in your field is that-home team dug outs....way back in a nose bleed section ....out by the home run wall, ummmmm......left field.....right field.... ? I watch b-ball and I have no idea ;D ! *jtrocks60*

I DVR'd it and when the first pitch wasn't shown, I skipped straight to the 7th inning stretch.
They showed Simon singing it (wearing a Cubs home jersey with "LEBON" stitched on the back), then he donned headphones and jabbered with the Cubs announcer for quite a while. I also noticed that they played a lot of DD at the stadium, and their songs were used as lead-ins for quite a few commercial breaks.

Someone needs to break out that fruity pic of Simon with the baseball glove and bat... I have an entirely different pic of Simon looking like he's @ a ball game. he is wearing a blue cap and white pants and appears to be smuggling the bat in them!

damn....figures this'll be on channels i don't get. then again, i may have to check that when i get home. who are the Cubs playing? ESPN or one of those other cable channels may pick up the game depending on who they're playing.... and .....i'm gonna go with Simon throwing the ball out. then again, they may have both Si and John do that.... it's been done before where there's more than one tossing out the first pitch....lol There's a joke in here somewhere about JoSi and who is going to pitch and who is going to catch, but I won't go into it now! *smacks hand* Bad girl!

They rarely show the first pitch, or seventh inning stretch on TV, unless it's there's some big story behind it, so I'm not really surprised that they didn't show much. And unless it's the Red Sox or Yankees, forget about seeing the game at all outside of your market.

@ Carina-John was to be there with Simon. With all the extra talking Simon did with the anouncer, he sounds like he was there by himself. Did you ever see any sighting of John?

*jtrocks60*Nope, I didn't see John, but as soon as Simon said his goodbyes to the announcer, I turned it off. I'm sure if John had been there, he would have been in the booth with Simon, so I don't think he was there.
