Having an iPod has spoiled me for listening to most full albums at any one given time. With the exception of certain jazz albums, I tend to just play my music on shuffle and skip ahead to the net song if I'm not into what comes up.
That said, maybe it would help to list which albums are best represented on the iPod. Because if I don't like a song, no matter how much room I've got in the hard drive, it's not going on there.
So...Here goes...
Duran Duran - 9 of 9 tracks Rio - 9 of 9 tracks Astronaut - 12 of 12 tracks Red Carpet Massacre - 13 of 13 tracks (including "Cry Baby Cry") Seven and the Ragged Tiger - 8 of 9 tracks Notorious - 6 of 10 tracks Pop Trash - 8 of 12 tracks Duran Duran (Wedding Album) - 6 of 13 tracks Medazzaland - 4 of 12 tracks Liberty - 1 of 11 tracks Big Thing - 0 of 12 tracks Arena - 0 of 10 tracks
I should add a qualifyer that some songs - pretty much those between Notorious and Thank You - are found in higher quality on their respective singles box sets as those albums have yet to be remastered, so I've gone with the box set versions instead. That includes album tracks like "Palomino" as well as actual singles.
I've also got all 18 tracks of their Madison Square Garden show from March 21, 1984 (my first Duran concert), loads of singles, b-sides, night versions and a handful of remixes from the box sets and much of the unreleased stuff from Astronaut.

Just thought I'd admit (after reading all of these posts) that I am a fan of THANK YOU...White Lines, Lay Lady Lay, Perfect Day, and Thank You are all on my IPOD, whereas I have not one song from LIBERTY on my IPOD; Serious is only there, b/c I imported the entire GREATEST cd onto it. Me too. I like 'Thank You'. I may not listen to it as often as others, but I did actually listen to it fairly recently. It reminds me of high school and how deeply into Durandom I was at the time. To this day there are only two songs I skip on it. I agree. It's a great album that got a bum rap. I only skip 2 songs as well: 911 Is a Joke (what the hell were they thinking?) and Ball of Confusion (they just don't quite pull it off for me).

Least: Pop Trash (only listen to Someone Else Not Me)
Most: RCM, Live in London CD, Astronaut currently, but. . .
I like all the other albums, but only have a few on CD; the rest are on cassettes, so I can't listen to them in the car!
BTW, I like listening to Liberty, too!

I have got my whole collestion of DD on the Ipod over 1700 songs. all the albums but the bootleg collaction form here and Klaus is the biggest part. over the last week or tow RCM and the Seattle bootleg are higest in play. I went for a run this morning and set the Ipod on random DD and I got a nice collestion of live and studio, old and new, hits and b-sides.
My favorit DD album ever is SATRT, first one I ever bought and I still have it.

Hey Stupe............ Just curious, which track from SATRT do you not have on your i-pod??? The album version of "The Reflex." I just think it sounds flaccid and unfinished compared to the superb remix by Nile Rodgers.
