Can you see an 'add buddy' link in a person's profile?
Click on your own name and see if there is a buddy list manager.
Not sure if this is working or not.

Thanks, I'm thinking there should be a link in every mini-profile (the one to the left of your message) to 'Add Buddy' so you don't have to manually type a 'buddy' to add to your list. I'm asking for help from the support board, watch this space!

It looks like you need to click on a person's name and it will go to their profile, then you can see an 'Add Buddy' link.

Yep...and in you own profile you can see a link to your buddy-listy next to bookmark!
Cool! You can PM all your buddy's at the same time!

Yes, I have an "add Buddy" in the mini-profile. And I can add and pm buddies.
Not sure what the "description" function does though. It doesn't show anything I've said when I "view" the buddies.
