damn I wish the full show would surface! It was clearly all recorded! THIS is what EMI should have included with the SATRT 3 disc set!

Or maybe the Wembley show from 83/84.....but saw some videos on youtube and it sounds damaged

Or maybe the Wembley show from 83/84.....but saw some videos on youtube and it sounds damaged Yep, the source tape for those youtubes must have been stretched in spots...the pathetic part was comments by idiots thinking it was a horrible performance by the band causing the speed/pitch glitches! I wouldn't be surprised if there is an unglitched source of that show in a vault somewhere as well!

Just realized I said "those youtubes"...they must be on the internets, which are of course themselves a series of tubes. As you can clearly see, I've used the google to research all this stuff! ;D

Yes, it can be heard the most clearly during the Rio performance....in the break, just before the sax solo, when only bass and drums play....and in the beginning of Girls On Film.... I wonder how can people think it's caused by the band...Is it even possible to play it "that way" ? LOL Anyway, it was a great performance as always

LOL Anyway, it was a great performance as always Probably just more fallout from the old "Rolling Stone magazine myth" that they were never more than pretty boys who could barely play their instruments! I've been fighting the good fight against that sort of dysinformation for 27 years! And yes, great footage even despite the glitches!

And I think this was told, written and floated by people who couldn't play any instrument.... Well, they kept on touring and kicking a**es every time they could...so the boys CAN play! People who don't think the same must be deaf!
