Hi, can anyone help me design the Thompson Twins Proboard forum I created?
I just can't seem to work out how to get a nice pic at the top, like DD here.
Let me know if you can help me.
Cheers
- Geoff

First you need a place to host your picture ie Tinypic.com or Photobucket.com. Copy the address of your picture using Ctrl C.
Then click on Admin. Then click on Skins / Forum Colors (under Customize Your Forum)
Click on Modify skin, choose 'default' then click on Continue.
Scroll down to 'Logo URL' then paste the address of that picture into the box to the right of it. ( Ctrl V)
Scroll to the end and click 'Modify Skin'
Click 'Home' and you should see your banner.
To get the banner below everything else, use this code - Put it in your Global Header (Admin --> Customize your forum --> Headers and Footers...choose Global Headers and Footers then click Continue. Paste this code into the 'Header' section then click Save Changes.
Here is the code:
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- document.getElementsByTagName('font').item(1).style.display="none"; //--> </script>
<script type="text/javascript"> /*Isaname's Ultimate Welcome Table Moves Hey X you have X... and Menu above Logo image with optional Welcome Message! Isaname2005@hotpop.com - Do not edit or add on to this code but what I have instructed you to edit. This Header Must Stay Intact At All Times and This Header must NOT be edited*/
var welcomemsg='WELCOME TO YOUR TT BOARD' var textsize="6"
//DO NOT EDIT BELLOW THIS LINE var row1 = document.getElementsByTagName("tr")[2]; row1.style.display = "none" var cell1 = document.getElementsByTagName('td')[2]; cell1.style.display="none"; var mark = document.getElementsByTagName("table")[1].insertRow(0).insertCell(0); mark.colSpan = "2";mark.align= "center";mark.height="50";mark.className = "windowbg"; mark.innerHTML = cell1.getElementsByTagName("font")[0].innerHTML+'<br><center><font size="'+textsize+'">'+welcomemsg+'</font></center>'+document.getElementsByTagName("tr")[3].innerHTML; </script>
Edit the text in red to anything you want.
