exciting Tim Please post lots of pic from the Japanese fanclub magazines!!! Curious to see them That would suggest an unheard of level of efficiency from me - but we'll see.

& now there's this set of vip stuff, which was one of the things i'd been actively keeping an eye out for.

Yeah, from looking at the couple of previous ones sold that were also complete sets, none of the posters are strictly mint - as everything was sent out together in a square poster tube... ...but looks to be about as good as they get.
& for ¥1,500 for the lot... …so postage & fees taking it to effectively £16 all in within Japan... ...then it was very reasonably priced.

Nice Tim! not sure if i have this sticker sheet! I guess it came with a later (1984) pressing of 7&TRT since it has Tiger Tiger on it. Need to check if i have it with one of my copies. Simply as a point of interest Peter, there's another Japanese version of 7&TRT with a completely different logo sticker sheet & a ~12" notebook with the album cover on the front.
Yeah, as i have no concrete idea of what i own with lots of the vinyl - well, at least in terms of precisely which alts & insert sheets & stuff - i was checking to see if i had the extra b/w video sheet thing for Arena; which i do, so that stops me wasting any money buying another…
…& whilst i was pulling stuff out wondered why one Japanese copy of 7&TRT was significantly thicker than another - which just had the standard stuff + the poster.
So, that makes at least 4 sets of inserts - as you've got one with a 12" card of the album cover, yes?

Not very exciting in the scheme of things, but have needed this sticker sheet for half of ever...
(it came with a copy of the 7&TRT LP naturally - but that's dull)
Slightly, more excitingly though, my first package of Japanese purchases should be turning up on Weds, having just paid the customs & handling fees at this end. I have this sticker set as part of a Arena release (vinyl has stamper numbers 22 / 32, so it must be a later pressing)

Another day, another Japanese poster...
Attachment Deleted
Yeah, i'm not 100% certain that i don't have a copy already... ...but, whilst it has a single ~1cm tear, was less than £9 all in - so as it'll go in with the other posters from Japan then decided that i may as well pick it up.
&, cheaper still, also picked up a copy of the Arena LD, as i know i don't have one with the Obi strip... Though i may only have had the UK & US versions... not sure without a major search.

Not quite sure what this was doing in - Books, Comics & Magazines>Comic Books & Memorabilia>Merchandise & Memorabilia>Other Merchandise & Memorabilia - on eBay, but just found one of the (many) phonecard backing cards missing from the collection.

At least it's pretty obvious which one this belongs to.

So, that's another Japanese insert found; again for not a huge amount of money -

(i'm guessing that it's some kind of offer for a poster, as it looks to be a form of some sort - but have no real idea tbh... ideas anyone?)
& a cheap PS tour flyer -

Just heard back from someone who knows Japanese & the title at the top reads "デュランデュラン ファンクラブ"...
...so "De~yurande~yuran Fankurabu" - or, properly translated, "Duran Duran Fan Club".
Now this is a completely new one on me as, whilst i knew there was a Japanese FC address in 84 (as before, my understanding is that this was largely forwarding on the UK stuff), this suggests that there was one in 81-82.
