I wasn't going to buy these anyway but those prices are a total joke. The double disc without the DVD of Big Thing is on Amazon for £8.99 yet the double one of Notorious is £14.99. Amazon's pricing has been pretty mad lately but even £19.99 on HMV is way too much. You would think after the public mauling EMI received after the last two botched remasters that they would have the sense to offer them at a sensible price like £12.99 for the one with the DVD and £8.99 for the ones without and it won't help that Big Thing was leaked nearly two months prior to release. I just hope that EMI lose out on these releases big time.

This is only my opinion....but I don't think anyone should buy these....even for the DVD's. With all that has happened, we should as a group, boycott these 2 releases in any purchasable format until EMI fix the issues that are already apparent in these series of sets. I am not trying to incite anything....just give people something to think about. There IS strength in numbers, why not hit them where it hurts. Just my opinion....nothing more. Since the DVD is really the only reason I'd buy any of these anyway, I really wish the DVDs were seperate. I suppose it's smart from a business point of view to make it all a big package, but yeah, I'm not interested in a set with "issues". That turns me off from even getting them for the DVDs.

the prices will all come down if you just wait anyway- I certainly won't be bothering with them at £20- actually I don't even know when they're coming out- is it sometime next month?

I agree with intomyflame87, and I,M NOT GOING TO BUY, any of these re-releases. And even, and especially dedicated to the DD police, DD lawyers,etc...I,m gonna download ILLEGALLY!!! the 13th album from the web, using ares or Emule( Can you read it DD police???, yes, I,m a pirate, i,m gonna destroy the music market, hahahaha...), and if it,s good, maybe...I,ll buy it.... I did this with RCM, and i didn,t like it, but I bought it for nostalgia..but now, seeing that DD treat us, their fans, like bullshit...nostalgia is gone....

Why punish them by not buying the new album? I can understand skipping the remasters due to their reputation for bad quality. Showing EMI that we won't settle for that. But what does that really have to do with the new stuff DD is doing?

That's awfully presumptuous to assume the new album will have the same quality issues and to assume the band is nothing but money-grubbing. If they didn't care about the music, why would it take this long to work on it?
Do whatever you want, I'm still going to give the new album a chance.

EMI own the copyrights & can pretty much do how they wish. C'mon!
