I'm job hunting myself. It's so hard to know what to say and what not to say. I have not gotten an interview yet...one person keeps calling me about a job (my current job makes it hard to call someone back during business hours since I work business hours). I have a feeling the position is a step back for me and I am not sure how to handle it with the lady, should we finally connect with each other.
So often in my career I have taken only entry-level jobs...only to find there's nowhere for me to go. I am trying to break that cycle. After 13 years in the job market, I no longer consider myself "entry-level".

Thanks sweetie!!!
Good luck on your search!
And keep something in mind, especially since you have a job... We spend a third of our lives at work! So don't settle just for money. Life's too short. Try to do what you love.
Good Vibes coming your way...

Ha! I need to settle for money for once! Not only do I hate my job but the pay is lousy. I'll have to move in with family if this keeps up (and we don't want that). Thanks for the support!! Job-hunting can be so distressing...

Well... Here's hoping you find both money and something you love.
I'm trying to be a middle-school teacher.
Best!

oooh...teaching jobs are hard to come by. You need lots of luck:) I sent you karma so I hope that helps, too
(don't exactly get the karma thing or the junior, full member thingies...but I like it. People I don't even know give me karma...gives me hope that there are nice people in the world.)

It really depends on the job. I had just bought non-refundalbe tickets to California the week of Christmas, which would have been 3 weeks after I was hired. I told them in the Interview and they not only hired me, but let me take the time off too... pretty nice of them.
I do like my company a lot.
