actually, that's grammatically correct, I think. (simplistically) in English, when a word is made of another, and the first word ends with a consonant, that consonant is doubled:
final - finally fat - fatty
right?
hence: duran = durannie

that might be the technically/grammatically correct way, but i think historically, it's always been spelled duranies. never let it be said the british press has a lock on proper grammar! LOL

I'm surprised nobody noticed (or at least hasn't mentioned) that the article failed to list Andy as part of the original line up. No mention of him at all.

Hm! I'm sure it was an oversight of the writer who might not be very familiar with DD.

I have friends who change the number of 'n's depending on the number of Taylors in the band. Right now, then, it would be durannie. In 2005, it would have been durannnie.
