so what is the holy grail of DURAN DURAN vinyl bootleg records??
(i let each person make 3 choices to give some sort of idea what the top records might be thinking there'd be some different opinions among us)
feel free to explain your choices!

i still think DECADENT DURANTICS is the real and true holy grail of dd boots. i know some people have never got a copy and it took me about 26 years to find one. to achieve that find, i basically had to learn to read another language!
KHANADA is a fair choice as well. that record has fetched the most money on ebay. i don't like to judge things by the price, but i think it can be taken as an indicator of how rare it is based on how insane the bidding wars get when a copy is up on ebay.

I went for Decadent Durantics and Khanada. Out of this list I only own Live At Madison myself by the way.

I always wished I had Di's Big Date. that is ROYAL ROCK GALA. di's big date is one of the other names it goes by... the front cover says: prince's trust rock gala the back cover says: duran duran royal rock gala 83 "di's big date!" and to add insult to injury, there's actually 2 copies of that one. one with a pink cover and one with a blue cover.

Thanx for that info. I only ever saw it once when my friend that I went to the record shows with showed me his copy. I think it was the purple one, but that was over 20 years ago, so who knows/ Any idea how many there are of those? And why there are 2 colours?
