Hey guys.. this is a message for all DD fans the hour of the digital release on itunes is approaching.. I propose if we all want this album to go to nr 1 and become another historical success, let' s download at least 3 or 4 copies more...30 40 $ i think is worth the price for seeing our idols returning regaining the success they deserve..! a.

I imagine next week is going to be a big week for album sales as it's leading up to Xmas and although the media coverage is great, I just can't see 30,000+ people going to itunes to download the album. I think the albums chart success will follow in February when the physical release happens. Don't get me wrong, I'd love the album to chart well next Sunday but personally I don't see it breaking the top 50.

i think people buying one copy is quite enough...
if you have money to burn, i suggest buying some food for a food drive or buying toys to give to underprivileged children.
being realistic, i don't think the album is going to get to number one...look what shit it's up against...a bunch of crappy xmas albums. dd might break the top 10 if they are lucky but i wouldn't be expecting any xmas miracles this year.
we should just be proud that the boys have made an album that most of us seem to really love. records get to number one in the charts when big dumb record companies spend a foolish amount of money to put them there...it's pretty rare to see anything with a shred of integrity even crack the top 10. in the uk at the moment, only '4x4=12' by deadmaus has any cred at all. the rest is toss...

The UK charts tends to be better than the US charts, though. Marginally. Not over the Christmas period they're not though ( though I'd agree the rest of the year they are...marginally). Still, I think DD would need about 10,000+ downloads to crack the top 10 in the UK next week and I don't see that happening.

Can't spare this much for a digital thing. I just don't need it multiple times, sorry! However, the work is a masterpiece and I'll be hunting down every physical package they would release - CD, CD/DVD, LP and so on...

Yeah there is little hope in the US at the moment of breaking the top 10 album charts. Have to say I think it's wise they have concentrated on the UK for a change this time round rather than trying to crack the US big again. UK is an easier market for them for obvious reason so there is more chance of a bigger pay back.
