I just looked at the latest radar and nothing's changed. The whole state is STILL blue and pink.

There was a little snow here around 11am Central this morning. It has been a mix of everything: sleet, snow, freezing rain. More is predicted for this evening and a few school districts around Central Texas are already closing again for tomorrow. I have some pics I will try to put up later.

I just walked out to the car to remove the case of water and case of diet pepsi from the trunk so they didn't freeze and burst and whilst out there, some cruchy stuff fell on my head a little.
BLECH.
Ice.

My co-workers wanted snow so bad today so we could go home early. It seemed that it snowed hard all around us but not where we were. The traffic lady on the radio was funny "You know, guys, I don't get paid by the accident here but I should today."

Wow! Notice the weather band completly misses FL. It's been in the low 80's. Can you bring some of that coolness down here?

Yeah...there's ice on the railing of my balcony and there are also little 1" long icicles. Creepy, as I live in Houston. I still don't think we'll get any snow that sticks. The forecast calls for wintry mix in the AM, though. BLECH. EDIT: the hour by hour forecast on weather.com that was posted this afternoon called for wintry mix in the AM. now it just says freezing rain. that's more like it. i just LOVE that when it's 33* outside, it feels like 24* due to the 84% humidity. gotta LOVE the houston weather.
