Autographed items can be a bit tricky - they're either authentic with / without provenance or forgeries. Any autographed item that I have I either got right then and there from the artist(s), bought legitimately (i.e. online store release as it is nowadays) or bought the item secondhand where the signature(s) are verified as real. All that being said, this item recently sold: DURAN DURAN RARE 1981 SIGNED DEBUT LP BY BAND IN DETROIT HARVEST LABEL ST-12158 - US $644.57www.ebay.com/itm/284347192809The seller claims that the item was "SIGNED IN DETROIT / REDFORD MICHIGAN IN 1981 9/27/81 AT THE NITRO CLUB", but according to the Duran wiki, they played at St. Andrews in Detroit on that date....on the other hand, the Duran Duran website says they performed at the Nitro Club. Someone has the incorrect information! Duran Duran - Hold Back the Rain / 7" EMI TEST PRESSING 1982 - EMI 5327B - GBP 83.05 / Approximately US $114.47www.ebay.com/itm/154509206750Here's an item you don't see come up too often: DURAN DURAN COME UNDONE 12" SINGLE RECORD VINYL 1993 PROMO UK 12DDDJ 17 - GBP 76.66 / Approximately US $105.66www.ebay.com/itm/29423962907690s 1993 Made In USA Duran Duran Brockum X-Large T-shirt Ultra Rare Wedding Alb - US $61.08 www.ebay.com/itm/274846253985Duran Duran Rare Zimbabwe Press Hungry Like the Wolf - GBP 37.09 /Approximately US $51.12 www.ebay.com/itm/194204307770Duran Duran Rare Rhodesia Zimbabwe Press Girls On Film - GBP 26.00 / Approximately US $35.84 www.ebay.com/itm/203489538030Duran Duran Rare Zimbabwe Press My Own Way - GBP 20.00 / Approximately US $27.57 www.ebay.com/itm/203493462130

It was at the Nitro club in Detroit. There is a club flyer floating about that lists the show. 1982 show was at Clutch Cargo's, although I've also seen that one listed as St. Andrews. Popular place!

Just to add to this, Redford is a 'Charter Township' in Wayne County to the west of Detroit proper - albeit that it appears to have effectively become a suburb...
...& the Nitro Club (aka Uncle Sam's... ...then the Nitro... ...aka Maxie's... ...aka Mr Nik's) was situated on 14060 Telegraph Road in Redford.
Okay, so i don't know the technicalities of how things are named for the US.
Well, clearly there's shed loads of areas of Sheffield that were originally separate & would still be used if you were talking to someone locally - but, in terms of naming gigs, you'd call it Sheffield...
Though i'm sure that someone from the US could give a better idea than i could.

Again, not an eBay item of interest, but these 3 lots went under the hammer just now - £50 + 27.60% £950 + 27.60% - there were no images of the rolled posters so i don't know what they were. Didn't sell - the jumper belonged to Simon. Yeah, the ordering was a bit annoying as obviously ~£65 was cheap for the first lot - & was priced out on the 2nd.

Yeah, apart from the photo & the tour programme, it's just stuff that never shows up for sale...
(well, a copy of the tour jacket was on eBay a few years back which Derek bought, but that's the only one)
...but my limit beforehand was £750 + fees (& that would have left me with just enough for bills & stuff for the month), but actually bid £900 in the excitement.
Otherwise, i had almost no time for making the original post as someone was about to turn up, but these were the other photos that are possibly interesting -
(i've added the 2 copies of the photo simply as some people are interested in signatures)
(this was the official tour shirt - & it's why i believe the ones with the dates on the back are bootlegs)

Would really love to know what the rolled posters are. i've already sent the auction house an email to ask if they took any photos of them - & will post if i get anything useful from them. Yeah, i deliberately didn't ask before bidding as 'if' they'd been *really* exciting then it would have pushed the known value up... ...though obviously that's moot since someone had deeper pockets than i do atm.
