Let's see:
January 27, 1989, UIC Pavilion Chicago. My first ever concert! I had just graduated high school three days earlier and my birthday where I turned 18 was two days earlier. I bought a tourbook (still have it).
August 6, 1993, World Theater, Chicago. I used to go to many concerts at the World (since renamed the Tweeter, then Hollywood, now First Midwest) since it was 3-4 miles from my house and I drove in the back ways. Bought a tourbook, which I have but threw out the gold wrapping because it became torn.
August 18, 2000 Same venue as above. I bought a tourbook, still have it.
March 2001, House of Blues. Can't remember which date. Only concert I didn't buy a tourbook because it was the same one as above. Instead I bought this package that had balloons, photos and a couple of buttons. Still have all of them, even the balloons which I never blew up.
November 17, 2003, House of Blues. This is where I met them too! A friend knew where they stayed and we met them. This was the concert I bought a t shirt, a tourbook (which they signed) and buttons. Have everything.
March 18, 2005, Allstate Arena. Chicago. Last concert I saw of theirs, though they have since been back. I haven't been able to see them since due to a variety of factors (deathly sick for months, busy with work and/or school, etc). Bought the tourbook, which was expensive but very nice. Like all my tourbooks I still have.
I wish they had more variety in souvenirs, like posters. For example when I saw U2 last they sold posters and I bought one along with buttons and a tour book. I don't remember DD selling posters at these shows, I think I would have bought them.

Rosario, April 29 1993 Buenos Aires, April 30 1993 Montevideo, May 8 1993 Mar del Plata, November 24 2007 Buenos Aires, November 7 2008 Buenos Aires, May 4 2011 Buenos Aires, May 5 2011
There was two shows i've missed when they got here. One it was one of the most frustrating things ever to happen in my life as a fan. 2005, Astronaut Tour, first (and only) time they were here with the original line up, and that same day, i had a show with my band already booked in another city at over 1000 km away from Buenos Aires (some 650 miles). Impossible to be in two places at the same time. I thought about cancelling my show, but we just had released an album with Sony, and we were touring it, it felt too unprofessional. Although i know i made the right choice, i obviously regret it. My worst night as a musician and as fan. It was horrible.
The second one was with Paper Gods Tour. It part of a festival (Lollapalooza), and knowing the set list they have been doing, i said f___ it. Don't regret about that one.
Saw them in person several times each of them. Have some items signed by them, bought some shirts, not many merchandise.

Auburn Hills, Michigan - March 24, 2005 Chicago, Illinois - October 21, 2011 Windsor, Ontario, Canada - October 22, 2011 Clarkston, Michigan - July 11, 2016
Greatest Memory ! October 22, 2011 - Windsor, Ontario, Canada I was lucky enough to get front row for this concert and the first time I see them in my city that I live in. This also was my first time having front row to a Duran Duran concert. I had made a poster for the occasion stating that I had waited 30 years to see Roger and John up-close and personal. This was a dream come true for me. I held my poster at the beginning of concert and at the end of the concert, so I would not be that fan that blocks the view for other fans behind me. After the last song, I held my poster again and hoping to just get an acknowledgement from the guys. Dom saw my poster and Roger was walking towards the front of the stage. Dom touched Roger's shoulder and pointed Roger to look at my poster. Roger looked at me, smiled and walked towards me and handed me his drumstick. At that point, I think that I froze, cried, smile, laugh, I had all the emotions a girl can have at the same time. Still to this day, this is my favorite memory with the bands. I am hoping to be able to meet them sometimes next year when they start touring again.

I first saw Duran Duran in 1984 in Portland, Maine when I was a teen.
My husband and I just went to their concert in Washington, DC, on September 13, 2023.
Of course, it was a shock to see how they've aged but they still have the same energy and enthusiasm in their music. It was also very sad to not have Andy Taylor there.
Nile Rodgers was one of the opening bands with his group Chic. It was terrible but he wanted to make sure we all knew that HE wrote many songs for many bands/singers and said he could do them better, but of course, he didn't. He needs to keep his talent to the writing.
I've never met any of the band members, unfortunately, but I did learn that my husband won backstage tickets over the radio back in 1984 when he first saw them in concert, too. He, however, grew up in Virginia while I grew up in Maine. I didn't win the tickets my own radio station was giving away.
It was great to see them in concert again but it felt like we were saying goodbye.
I love their new album, Danse Macabre. The band played the title song at their concert with the announcement of when the album would be released (Simon's birthday!). Sadly, none of the stores in my area sold any so I had to buy it online for my Apple Music app.
Simon has been my heart throb since I first heard him sing and his voice still sends shivers down my spine. Combined with the talent of all the musicians in the group, Duran Duran has always been my favorite all these years.
