I am dying to know when people get them. I am scouring YT for any versions anyone may have posted. I did see one of the mixes, but no TLW yet.

Got my vinyl set today. It's really nice - annoyingly I'm not back home with access to my turntable until Saturday, so in terms of sound quality and the specific mastering for this release I can't comment just yet. Criticisms - the vinyls are not marked in anyway, so you don't know which record is which. The only way to tell is by checking the booklet which has corresponding pictures of the covers with what is on which one. They could have at least stuck a small number somewhere on the back of each sleeve. The magnets that hold together the side of the box aren't very strong. And, unless I'm going mad there is a huge great typo on the running time of the remixes (discs 4 and 5) - 64.1? WTF On a set which has next to no text (save the lyrics) that is pretty unforgivable. The black perspex box feels very fragile - everything was packaged quite well, inside a Styrofoam casing but as you can see from the last picture I've got a crack on one corner - so I'll be on the phone to them tomorrow to swap it out - hopefully they will just swap out the box and I won't have to send the lot back as I've got quite a low number and the rest of the contents are in perfect condition, no seem splits etc. So, a little disappointed at the moment but hopefully once I have a mint box and once I've heard it, I'll feel a little less sick about the cost...

Congrats! but sorry to hear your outerbox has a crack. they will replace them as the backside of my outerbox is loose and they informed me i will get a replacement. Dont worry about that. As for the typo... i immediately noticed that one too, thought they used some kind of weird outer space time notice, but that is not the case hahaha.
As for the packing, i think they did a good job packing the box in foam and a sturdy outerbox.
You mentioned 'quite a low number' which issue number do you have? I have 047.
Hope you'll be able to play the records soon!
Best regards, Peter

I really don't want to have to send the whole lot back.

Still not heard from TVF either...send them an e-mail because the 5 working days since announcement of the starting of shipping have past. As far as communication goes it's not really a great company... The answer: Hi there, Thank you for your email. We endeavour to respond within 24 hours, but are currently very busy shipping the Pet Shop Boys and Duran Duran boxsets so we may take a little longer.

Sorry but I have to go off on a bit of a rant here... I contacted VF months ago about this box when it was announced. At the time I was assured that the album lacquers were cut at 45RPM, as would likely be all 5 discs. I now come to find out that only the 2 remix LPs, discs 4 & 5, are 45RPM. I was told the only reason why the lacquers would be recut to 33RPM is at the band's request. THIS MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE AT ALL!! For those unawares, 45RPM cutting is superior audio-wise to 33 1/3. The main drawback is that it requires more discs to fit the content. However this was not a problem as the album and bonus tracks were already being spread across 3 LPs....plenty of room. Cutting at 33RPM is just wasting precious vinyl which could have sounded so much better! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!!!! For $450 I hoped for better, considering what quality Vinyl Factory is known for. Sounds like they had their heads on straight, it is just the band's "involvement" which mucked things up again. (also, recutting the lacquers after they had already been finished would be another reason why the set was postponed for so long.) I'm sure 99% of purchasers don't care in the least (fine...move along, nothing to see here...), but frankly this annoys the heck out of me!
