It's gonna suck tonight around here. The ground is soaking wet from the melted snow and it will be below freezing when the sun goes down... hello black ice!

 We never see it here in Texas... At leat you'd think so. There's barely an inch on the ground along with some sleet and the whole city has closed down. Cowards! Actually it's for the best... Texas are crazy drivers when the roads are fine... add slick and it's bye bye baby. Seattle also nearly shuts down after a light dusting of snow. We don't normally receive it too often (this winter being an exception), so the city is ill-equipped to clear the roads when we are hit with snow. Those of us who've lived in snowy areas just sit back and shake our heads. |
