 i've posted the whole of the old ABC Thread "OT: ABC - Canal Room - The first report from the trenches ..." to the web. abcthread.freehostia.comafter the intro page the thread looks exactly as it was up until the board went down. i think i got the last post, but if anyone has a later version saved, please send it to me. the "next" and "back" links are functional, everything else is not. the site is intended to present the thread as an archive, not be active. someone may start a new thread, but this is it as it was! even if you never posted in the thread, or don't like ABC, you can go in here and look around and pretend for a while that they never took the old board away!  thanks to Ta-LaLaLa for the fab logo, and to Mandieh for finding me a hosting server!!! enjoy! :-) |

ohmigod! I saved the thread, too, but I had no great plans for it, certainly nothing as fancy as what you've done. Thanks, Mondaybox, for giving it back to us in all its sprawling glory!

I had also saved all 52 pages but I had no real clue yet how to reconstruct them into something browseable. Amazing!
The thread turned out to have even one more post than I saved.
By the way, in case anyone's interested, I've saved all the other ABC threads, too (except the one that had expired by then).
