Any word if they will be hitting late night talk shows?
DD and or Management really really really really need to get on SNL--maybe when they hit New York?

I think radio appearances sound more realistic.

Call me crazy but I don't really want them to do a ton of extra stuff when they do this tour. I don't want them too extended, especially Simon. His health should be the most important.

I was thinking the same thing. During the promo tour of the U.S., Simon was performing almost every single day, whether it was radio, TV, or a full concert. Sometimes more than one in a day. And all of that was mingled with interviews and other PR. I can see it being important to do a little PR along the way to promote the shows, but hopefully the other band members can handle most of it and Simon doesn't get overextended.

The Ellen show is just one of the add-ons that comes to mind. It's a wonder they all didn't get run down. As much as I love to see DD as frequently as possible including on TV, I want them all well....pace yourselves, guys.

i was thinking what if after the 25 gigs in us and canada we european fans have to face the spring nightmare again? thats my fear because touring affects simon's voice not radio, tv ,etc promotion. that said i think we are the ones that should worry.

There are always risks when bands go on tour. Let's just be thankful that he's doing better and they will do their best to make these shows great I'm sure.
I don't think they need to be bothered with doing a lot of media this time though...Their tour is promotion in itself.
