Beautiful photos. No little ones for me yet - just a husband and a pug named Sophie (but she's like my baby) Here she is strapped in ready for her big trip to Vermont. She is too cute!

I was only about one, so I'm not in this picture. This is Christmas at my Grandma Miller's. My grandparents had dozens and dozens of grandkids - I think 43 altogether - maybe more. And they always bought us Christmas gifts. In fact, when Grandpa died at 93, the grandkids and great-grandkids EACH got about $2100 - quite a bit of money when you consider there were probably nearly 60 people by then to give it to! - Notice my brother Chris' UGLYASS sweater - looks like an early 70s linoleum floor pattern! - Notice my grandma's weirdass, siver-topped cane with the cup-thingy for her hand?!?!. This scared the shit out of me as a child - hell, SHE scared the shit out of me! Mean, bipolar Irish lady!!! - Don't make fun of the two tall girls in the background. They are my cousin's Anita (Aunt Cathy's third child) and Teresa (Aunt Pat's second child) and they are handicapped. - Notice my cousin Jo-ann with the fuzzy pink sock monkey - later she used to beat the crap outa us with that toy! - Notice Jesus up on the wall - good Catholic family we were - Notice the groovy white Christmas tree? - See my cousin Andy's unfortunate birthmark? My grandma started a family fund drive to raise money for surgury to get rid of it! Dead serious. All he has is a funny white patch and a small cut scar today!

I love picture threads. Can I add a really, really old one? This is my great-great-great-grandfather. He was a Union soldier in the Civil War.
