Could someone please explain to me the next line from TVF:
- each hand signed and numbered by Nick Rhodes and Warren Cuccurullo (TV Mania)
Where should I see it 1. numbered and 2. hand signed by Warren Cuccurullo.
I observed my box set all around and I can't see it has been numbered at all. Then, indeed, the Polaroid photograph is hand signed by Nick Rhodes but the vinyl card (the obe from the black The Vinyl Factory envelope) is screen printed with Warren's hand writing, nothing close to be hand-signed by him...

I wonder what they comes up with. Since the whole set costs quite a bit the best way to solve the issue with no numbering would be sending out each buyer something (i.e. the booklet like the one we have in the box, album artwork poster flat or custom printed certeficate) hand-signed by Nick and Warren, and numbered from 001 to 100 (randomly or in order we placed our orders, they have order history). Just a thought based on the box set price... Otherwise I would be waiting for the moment to catch Nick and have him sign the box set front cover!

Alright, i got a reply from TVF. Here it goes:
Thanks for the email. This edition is strictly limited to 100x copies, each containing a hand signed polaroid by Nick Rhodes and hand drawn artwork by Warren. The latter changed specification to a black PVC screenprinted print meaning that the artist could not now hand sign or number these. Please accept our apologies for not updating our website with this information.
I replied (of course) that a certificate would be a wonderful idea and as they are aware of the ordering sequence it shouldn't be a problem to include the boxset number in this certificate. And of course i addressed the same issue about this new release, the Euphoria-edition. This one also says signed and numbered limited to 200 copies.
As soon as i have more info on the certificate option i will definately let you know. Hope you all can hold your breath a little bit longer...
Best regards, Peter

Having had a look at the Euphoria vinyl on the site though, that appears to be signed on the front of the gatefold - basically appearing to be an autographed standard release with a £70 print... Which, i guess, is a way to get rid of some additional stock to the faithful - or at least the faithful with another £100 plus postage to spend.
However, the spec for the box set also stated "Warren Cuccurullo drawing screen printed white on black PVC" - so i'm not exactly sure how it would have suddenly become impossible as that element was as listed...
...& 'if' the plan was that Nick & Warren would individually number things then the surely the poloroids would also have been numbered...? All a bit odd imho.

I don't feel very good about the misleading info on the web site and the final product, and then no resolution offered. More than that they are taking pre-orders now for fully signed copies of the gatefold, meaning the ones myself included who purchased the limited box set won't receive anything to handle '2 missing features' issue. And I feel even worse because I have to order Euphoria Edition now, more money to spend.
I'd say, expect regular budget CD edition along with some super-duper exclusive and limited (signed by everyone listed in the album credits) 2CD/DVD/Blu-Ray/LD/U-Matic/whatever any time soon. And work harder, you'll need more money when the 200 Euphoria Edition sold out...

The current 'resolution' appears to be a certificate of authenticity from VF, but i'm not entirely sure that anyone could be bothered to fake the thing so that there'd be any doubt as to whether it was genuine... Or, for that matter, that VF would have lied about there only being 100 as their rep depends upon things being strictly ltd.
&, forgetting any non-vinyl releases, i'd really not be surprised if there was another £100 signed edition, with a print from whatever the 2nd video is, for sale in a few weeks time.

Hi,
Just received the confirmation that certificates are being issued and being sent within short in chronological order of when the boxset orders came in. Not sure if the boxset no. is mentioned on it. It is not a problem (to me) that it is issued by TVF as the whole production of the set was done by them, but still i think it is quite easy to include the number. It's only one hundred certificates.
The Euphoria set will be exactly as described they confirm to me.
Best regards, Peter
