As some of you might probably know, I like making lists. I already did one, including all 'Official Versions And Mixes' being released (commercially or promotionally). www.duranduran.com/wordpress/new-site-music/And now I finally 'finished' a new, extended list of genuine stuff, including everything (released/unreleased/shelved/scrapped) of what I have heard about in all the years. Perhaps the one or another may find it useful as a reference. If so, here it is: Attachment DeletedAny addition, correction or question is welcome!

Wow, i would kill to hear the Steve Thompson mix of AVTAK, his mixes with Michael Barbiero are so energy filled. The same goes for Serious - House Mix, but it could be very messy!!

one thing i see in the top red section:
>> -:-- Jay <Simon Le Bon on vocals>
i think this is actually a jam from a live show and not a song called 'jay'

Do you have something else what makes you think that is a 'jam'? Thanks for this!

Found something I have and that is not listed : Ordinary World (David Leonard Mix). I got this from a tape an Italian guy had, way back in 1993. He got that tape from Nick Rhodes. It was probably given to him when Leonard's mix was considered the final one : "Finally, Nick Rhodes and JJ perfected the string and other keyboard parts on ‘Ordinary World' at Maison Rouge, and after a few other amendments were made to drums and acoustic guitar with the much—used Akai DD1000, the song was ready for mixing. Steve MacMillion in the US, John Jones and Dee Long in the UK, and Queen's producer Dave Richards in Switzerland all made attempts at mixing the track, which were felt to be not entirely satisfactory, prior to David Leonard doing what John Jones recalls as ”a fantastic job." Leonard's mix was cut at London’s Townhouse Studios; but that wasn't quite the end of things. When the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert For AIDS Awareness took place at Wembley Stadium earlier this year, Dave Richards was in London to cut his own mixes, and he got to hear Leonard's work on 'Ordinary World'. Unbeknown to anyone else he decided to take another stab at it, and the result so pleased the band that this is the version that has found its way into the record shops! End of story." from www.duranasty.com/2013/may_2013/john_jones_duran_duran_wedding_album_20th_anniversary_celebration.htm

Could we say then that the mixes by Steve MacMillion and Dee Long also count as commissioned, but unreleased!?
